One of the most important cholesterol lowering ingredients in red yeast rice is compound known as monacolin K which has been shown to contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect has been shown to be obtained with a daily intake of 10 mg of Monacolin K from fermented Red Yeast Rice preparations (Commission Regulation EU 432/2012). Hadley Wood's Red Yeast MK-10 delivers monacolin K at the recommended 10mg per serving of 2 capsules.

The Red Yeast Rice ingredient used in our product is non–GMO and non-irradiated. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and has been certified to be free of citrinin (<50ppb). It has no synthetic or added monacolin.
